Cozine builds a better world instead of just imagining one — through performance, through music, through art that doesn’t let you look away. “It’s supposed to give you information, new ways of being,” he says of his work, and he means it: art as instruction, art as invitation, art as the room where change starts.
A longtime member of the Linkage Community, Cozine also helped produce Living on L.O.P., the interview series gathering hard-won advice from formerly incarcerated Michiganders, and appears in its ninth episode, “Necessity Is the Spark of Invention.”
