Day of Empathy March 7 | 11 AM – 4 PM (Breakfast at 10:30 AM. Free lunch too!) Shrine of the Black Madonna - 7625 Linwood Detroit, MI 48202 A statewide day of connection, storytelling, and advocacy. Lots o' Linkage members will be there.
"Where Are They Now?" — PCAP Alumni Reconnect March 28 | 12–6 PM (Free Lunch) Duderstadt Center, Ann Arbor - 2281 Bonisteel Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI 48109 Reconnect with UM alumni from past PCAP workshops and exhibitions. Lunch, theatre workshop, gallery tour, and writing letters to artists inside. RSVP required (Text me @ 734-649-0508)
Linkage Goes to The Moth StorySLAM April 2 | Dinner together around 5–6 PM (Michigan & Trumbull - 1331 Holden St #100, Detroit, MI 48202) Then @ 6:30ish, we head to Marble Bar - 1501 Holden St, Detroit, MI 48208 for StorySLAM. WE NEED YOU! Member Spotlight Series: We want one (at least!) from everyone! Submit however you want: short video (30 seconds max.), photo of a handwritten response, 1–2 sentence text, voice memo, record on Zoom with Sarah or Frannie. Keep it real — not polished. Prompt ideas: • When did you first feel like you belonged in a room? • Why do you drive hours to Linkage events? • When did making art really matter to YOU? • What would you want someone new, and totally different from yourself, to understand about Linkage? • Our membership doubled this year — why do you think that happened?
